Step 1

Verify insurance coverage

Regence
Premera
BlueCross Blue Shield
Anthem
United Healthcare
Cigna
We recommend waiting to receive your insurance verification confirmation PRIOR to proceeding to Step 2 to ensure coverage of our services. We do require a credit card on file when booking your appointment that will only be charged for late-cancellations, no-shows or if insurance was NOT verified ahead of time.

FAQs

You don't take my insurance, can I pay out of pocket?

Absolutely! The fee is $100, which includes the Lactation 101 course and the virtual consultation. When you schedule your appointment and fill out your paperwork you will just select "self pay". You will need to add a credit/debit card when scheduling your appointment, whether or not we are billing your insurance.

Can I just view the course without the consultation?

Yes you can, but we would be unable to bill insurance without the consultation portion, so this would only be available for self pay.

Can I just do the consultation without viewing the course?

We don't suggest skipping the course, because there are too many "basics" to cover during a 30-minute consultation visit, which is really meant to be focused on YOU and your unique needs.

If I have had a baby before, do I really need to do the course?

Even if you're a lactation pro, we still encourage you to view the course. Most experienced parents still say they learned something new!

I just found out I am pregnant, is it too early to start preparing?

No way! You can schedule your consultation for the future and get access to the course immediately. We do suggest booking your consultation for some time within your 3rd trimester (ideally 28-37 weeks in case baby comes early!) so that the information is fresh in your mind when you have your babe.

Do I have to be planning to exclusively breast/chestfeed my baby?

Not at all! Our support is relevant to anyone who is planning to provide their own milk to their baby, whether that is breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, or combination feeding, we can help with all of it.

Do you provide support for bottle feeding?

Yes! Our Lactation 101 course does not go into depth on bottles, but if you are planning to bottle feed, that is definitely a great topic to bring to your consultation with us to discuss.

Can I continue care with you after baby arrives?

We would love that! We are very capable of providing virtual support to clients all over the country. Establishing care with us prenatally is a wonderful way to build your confidence and know who you're gonna reach out to when you need that extra support!
