I'M NERVOUS ABOUT NURSING FOR THE FIRST TIME, WHERE DO I START?

It is so helpful to start with a Prenatal Consult, where you can establish a relationship with a lactation consultant, address your fears, worries and medical history. Then when you have a baby in your arms lactation support is just a click away!


The Lactation 101 Class also can give you loads of information to help you feel prepared before you baby arrives. Then when you have a baby in your arms lactation support is just a click away!

WHY ARE THE APPOINTMENTS SO LONG?

Well... mostly because they revolve around a nursing baby, and babies work at their own pace! Also, your appointment is not rushed, we spend as much time as we need to get a thorough history, really listen to your concerns and obstacles and work together to find a realistic solution.

WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES DURING COVID-19?

We are considered an essential service being part of the healthcare industry and continue to provide in-person visits, fully masked, taking special care to sanitize equipment and furniture between visits. We also provide virtual visits!

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

We can currently accept the following plans... Regence, Premera, Cigna PPO, BCBS (non federal), Tricare and Aetna.

For all other plans we are happy to provide Superbills for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. 

IS YOUR OFFICE ADA ACCESSIBLE?

Unfortunately it is not! We are located in a small office building in Tacoma that is not equipped with elevators to access our office. We are happy to provide home visits at office visit fees for clients within 20 miles of Tacoma, who would otherwise need ADA accessibility.
